About The Artist: Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue has enjoyed art and painting all of her life growing up in LA and now in San Diego. She was an Art Major at California State University Northridge. In the early 1980's she worked for a stationery company creating a line of Christmas cards and stationery for Gene Bliley Stationery. At the same time she painted wooden rockers, which were gifts to Whitney Houston and Michael J Fox. In the 1990's she owned a stationery gift store in Del Mar, and for the past 12 years she has been a preschool teacher in Solana Beach. Since moving to San Diego, she has also created a line of original paintings and cards that express her love of natures beautiful colors and the many moods of the ocean.
